“As a child, my drawings reflected my relationship with my friends and family, and my position in everyday life. Not much has changed in fifty years.

The thread that binds my current work is the same one that’s bound me to my childhood. I paint with the same hurt, passion and urgency that I did as a child. I draw with the same love for fashion, color and humor. ‘At the End of the Day’ is a glimpse of my life over the past ten years, a demonstration of how my life influences my work and how, in return, it influences me.

This exhibition is a collection of my paintings and drawings from 2017 to the present. The journals date back to the early 2010s.”
